what’s ichor?
Ichor, a project created by two artists with the spirit to get closer to the hearts of the people and give emotional comfort, whether by lyrics or melody. The creation of these is influenced by our different experiences, although we have the same emotions, we own different points of view. Like two sides of the same coin, we balance each other.
Our musical aesthetic is inspired by artists like Billie Eilish, Carolina Deslandes, Lana Del Rey, AURORA, and many more alike, that fit in this intimate and warmer style, that many call Dark Pop. We might be considered that, but the reality is we don’t associate with any specific genre, because we consider our musical process and it’s outcome to be as fluid as our emotions and well-being.
The name Ichor, besides being unique and profound, also brought an acquired philosophy with it. Being the idea that we, MELOHMY and SookieWednesday (the two artists), have an ambition of immortalizing our art through those that listen, like the blood that runs through the veins of the Gods, making an impact on the life of the listeners through the comfort it brings.
